  • No Country for Old Men (98) A+: (The academy got this one right. Despite the plot being a bit dry, the characters in this movie make it the best of the year. Javier Bardem is the scariest bad guy since Hannibal Lecter)
  • Children of Men (96) A: (Clive Owen was made for the role, in an anarchy ridden time, he partners up with the most unlikely of characters to start a new world.)
  • Sweeny Todd: Butcher of Fleet Street (96) A: (The team of Depp and Burton are able to pull off justice for this muscial adaption to the clasic broadway show. If you see this movie be ready to see more blood than musical numbers which only adds to the quality of the show.)
  • 300 (94) A: (Gladiator times 300 with a pinch of HGH then throw in hundreds of thousands of dumb bad guys, and this is an action packed classic. The cinemetography breaks 300 into the top five for the year.)
  • American Gangster (93) A-: (Take two of the best actors in the last five years (Crow and Washington), add in gang warefare and a great storyline as a result this could easily have been one of the best movies of the year.)

Tara and Alex are Engaged!!


Despite the Rockefeller Center being too touristy, Central Park having a minor flood and a small monsoon hitting Manhattan, Tara and Alex got engaged last weekend at the South Street Seaport.
Tara and Alex had been going out for just under four years and met each other at eight minute dating at SoHo in Brighton, MA.
Thanks again to her sister Courtney and Tara's parents for thier support over the last few weekends helping Alex get all this setup.
